My name is Barnaby Harward and I am an editor and language trainer at an EU agency in Warsaw, Poland. Most of the content of this blog is designed for non-native English speakers from any country. But as I work in Poland I have particular experience of how Poles write in English. Some posts are therefore dedicated to specifically Polish issues. These can be found under the heading “Dla Polaków” – For Poles. However, I know that many of these mistakes are also made by native speakers of other Slavic languages, so if you come from Central-Eastern Europe, you might also find them useful.
